[SMM Hydrogen Energy Policy Express] National Standard: "Proton Exchange Membrane for Hydrogen Production by Water Electrolysis"

Published: May 14, 2025 13:59

Recently, the Standardization Administration of China (SAC) issued an announcement regarding the approval and release of 273 recommended national standards, including "Synthetic Hydrochloric Acid for Industrial Use," and nine amendment sheets for recommended national standards.

Among them, one standard is "Proton Exchange Membrane for Hydrogen Production by Water Electrolysis," which will come into effect on September 1, 2025.

This document specifies the classification and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of proton exchange membranes for hydrogen production by water electrolysis.

This document is applicable to the research, production, use, and management of proton exchange membranes for hydrogen production by water electrolysis systems.
